Some cancers and treatments for cancer may damage cells resulting in future infertility in some patients.  In some cases, it is possible to freeze and store sperm which could then be used for artificial insemination at some time in the future. We will work with the patient and the Oncologist to book the patient as soon as possible.

The Diagnostic Semen Laboratory (DSL) provides specialized services related to the evaluation and treatment of male fertility. The DSL is accredited and inspected by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta as well as by Health Canada.
