Eligibility
All individuals affected by cancer or bereavement, as well as their loved ones, who reside in the MRC Deux-Montagnes, south of the MRC Mirabel, and the MRC Thérèse-de-Blainville . Membership card fee applies.
Description:
Sercan offers several services to persons touched by cancer living in the Lower Laurentians territory.
Emotional support: Possibility of pairing with a volunteer, either by telephone or in person. Weekly support group for persons living with cancer.
Grief support: Possibility of pairing with a volunteer, either by telephone or in person. Weekly support group.
Transportation: Offered to people touched by cancer for medical appointments, including medical follow-up appointments, chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatments, as far as Montréal. Possible accompaniment upon request, depending on volunteer availability. ($)
