Genetics, Professional counselling: The Genetic Counselling Services of Health Sciences North offers a wide variety of clinical and testing services for individuals and families with genetic concerns. We see about 1900 new patients covering all of northeastern Ontario including the following districts: Sudbury/Manitoulin, Algoma, North Bay, Parry Sound, Timmins/Porcupine and the James Bay Coast. To be assessed for your genetic concerns, we need a referral from a Physician or Nurse Practitioner. Our team of Medical Geneticists, Genetic Counsellors and support staff will then work with you to assess your genetic concerns.

Appointments with our services are either in-person, via videoconference or telephone.
