The Jean C. Barber Lodge, 62 beds,  is owned and operated by the Canadian Cancer Society BC & Yukon Division. It is open year-round and offers affordable, comfortable and supportive accommodation for patients and family member (caregivers) who have to travel away from home to undergo cancer diagnosis, treatment, or follow-up. The lodge is located just one block away from the Vancouver Cancer Centre, Vancouver General Hospital and Skin & Eye Care Centres. 

If there are no vacancies, alternate accommodations will be suggested. Family members and friends (over 18 years of age) will be accommodated on a lesser priority, space allowing. 

 Scope of Services included in cost: 

• wheelchair accessible

• all accommodation is on a shared basis with ensuite bathroom 

• meals served in dining room and snacks included

• pay parking at Vancouver Cancer Center available
