Description:
This organization funds research while delivering national programs to support children and their families at all stages of their childhood cancer journey.
Education and emotional support:
- EmPower Packs: supports families who have recently received a childhood cancer diagnosis by providing a personalized resource toolkit and welcoming them into CCC's communities of support.
Financial:
- Emergency: The Emergency Fund is a financial program available to patients and families in Canada who are young adults or have children with cancer and need financial assistance.
- Benevolent: Financial assistance towards a child's final arrangements for families facing financial hardship. (Applications must be made through the family's social worker or nurse).
- Survivor Scholarships: Financial support to childhood cancer survivors pursuing post-secondary education.
Childhood Cancer Canada is the primary charitable funding partner of clinical trials and childhood cancer research for the C17 Council, which is comprised of leading pediatric oncologists and hematologists in Canada.
