Eligibility
Children with cancer and their families.
Description:
Childhood Cancer Canada exists to empower children with cancer and their families. Through compassionate care support, custom care packages for children, survivor scholarships, and beyond. We are here for children and their families in their time of need.
Compassionate Care Program offers direct support financially, physically, and emotionally, ensuring families can focus on what matters most - their child's health. Helps ensure families facing a childhood cancer diagnosis in Canada have access to the support they need when and where they need it most. This program also provides financial assistance towards a child's final arrangements for families facing economic hardship.
EmPower Packs bring joy, educational support, and much-needed comfort to newly diagnosed children across Canada. Each EmPower Pack is thoughtfully curated to include age-appropriate items that support children through their cancer journey.
Survivor Scholarships for college, university, or vocational training empower survivors to rebuild their lives and pursue their academic goals, so they can live the lives they dream of, beyond cancer. The Survivor Scholarship Program recognizes the personal triumphs of students who have survived childhood cancer and support their post-secondary academic aspirations.
Childhood Cancer Canada is the primary charitable funding partner for clinical trials and childhood cancer research for the C17 Council, which comprises leading pediatric oncologists and hematologists in Canada.
