Description:
The Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention (Black CAP) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven, community service organization that supports those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and raises awareness of the impact of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) within Toronto’s African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) populations. Our mission is to reduce the spread of HIV infection within Toronto’s Black communities and enhance the quality of life of people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. We work to create culturally relevant outreach, prevention and support services for people infected with, affected by, or at risk of contracting HIV. Black CAP is an inclusive space that provides services to a diverse ACB population that includes newcomers, LGBTQ communities, youth, and other at-risk populations.
