Description:

Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC) offers YACC Web Chats, an online discussion program designed for young adults aged 18 to 39 who are living with or beyond cancer. These virtual gatherings provide a safe, inclusive, and confidential space where participants can connect, support one another, and build authentic relationships.

What the program offers

  • Weekly live sessions: Multiple chats are offered each week, and participants can register for as many sessions as they wish.

  • Small groups: Each session is limited to 11 people to encourage meaningful and respectful exchanges.

  • Guaranteed confidentiality: Discussions are guided by strict rules to protect everyone’s privacy.

  • Peer-led chats: The chat leaders are young adults who have experienced cancer themselves, creating an atmosphere of empathy and understanding.

  • Diverse topics: Conversations explore themes such as resilience, identity, mental health, relationships, and much more.
