Action on Smoking & Health (ASH) is one of Canada’s leading tobacco control agencies. ASH's leadership on the tobacco issue has helped to shape local, provincial, and national strategies to reduce tobacco use. Its initiatives include public education, policy development, and advocacy for: the creation of more smoke-free indoor spaces; the reduction of youths' access to tobacco products; curbs on tobacco advertising and promotion; and increased public awareness of tobacco industry tactics.
