Crisis Response provides walk in mental health crisis services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The program is intended to serve any adult person within the boundaries of Winnipeg Region, who is experiencing a mental health or psycho-social crisis. In addition to a mental health assessment, the team provides crisis intervention and treatment, resource coordination and short term follow-up. The intended outcome is to assist the customer in resolving the crisis in a customer driven manner, with the best possible outcome, in the least restrictive environment and assist the customer in obtaining resources to prevent the crisis from happening in the future.
