Ages 12-29 within Winnipeg, MB. Accessible to Winnipeg as the youth hub is located at the corner of Broadway and Colony. No cost for service.
Description:
Huddle Broadway is a safe space for youth ages 12-29, offering free, trauma-informed and culturally safe health services in a youth-friendly atmosphere. Huddle offers mental health services, medical care, employment services, 2SLGBTQ+ supports and people to talk to about drugs and alcohol. Huddle can facilitate connections to other resources in the community ensuring that folks can have their needs met. One-on-One trauma-informed walk-in counselling with a mental health clinician to discuss mental health and wellness needs for youth ages 12-29.
Huddle offers one-at-a-time counselling and peer support services on mental health, wellness, and substance use needs. Support is offered for navigating services and goal setting, accessing Indigenous cultural resources and ceremony, employment, advocacy, and referrals. Services are walk-in based with no wait lists.
*This organization is a community partner connected to The Expand Project. The Expand Project is starting and expanding conversations and providing support for commercial tobacco use for and with queer and trans young adults ages 18 to 29.
