The OmbudService for Life and Health Insurance is available free of charge to all Canadian Life and Health Insurance consumers whose insurer is a member of OLHI. Description:
The OmbudService for Life and Health Insurance (OLHI) (OAP in French) is a free, fast, independent, and impartial organization helping Canadian life and health insurance consumers. Its main role is to provide a dispute resolution service between consumers and insurance companies.
The organization does not take sides: it is neither on the consumer's side nor on the insurer's side. Instead, it helps people understand their policies, navigate the complaint process, and find insurance policies of deceased loved ones.
